In 1932, a group of soliders were deployed to fight off a pack of Emus in the west Australian outback. Armed with lewis guns, trucks, and more ammunition than they could carry; they were defeated after a month-long campaign. The Emus won. Unbothered, unstoppable, and utterly indifferent to anything the soldiers tried. The emu became a symbol of raw, stubborn resilience.
The EMU, much like its namesake, is totally indifferent to any situation you'll find yourself in. The keen AEB-L edge will stay blisteringly sharp after any jaunt through the bush while a handcrafted Kydex sheath ensures your blade stays securely where you left it.
The handle is made of Micarta- a material so strong that it's used in bullet-resistant armor plating thanks to it's 32,000 PSI compression strength. The scales feature proprietary ergonomic topology that has been extensively tested to minimize hand fatigue over long periods and are assembled with the blade to form a continuous arc, eliminating hotspots for good.
The micarta scales feature a subtly carved texture reminiscent of the Emus signature coat of feathers to ensure it stays securely in hand, because unlike Major G.P.W Meredith... this blade isn't backing out any time soon.
