This blade took months of preparation and planning to create (mostly due to workflow constraints). Made of the very same steel we use for the Eddy 2, the Mesa is designed to do all of the things the Eddy 2 can't... and then some. The flat ground sheepsfoot profile lends itself to applications like food prep and controlled cutting in situations that do not call for a pointed tip. Cryogenically treated AEB-L steel ensures optimal sharpness and easy maintenance when cutting it close isn't close enough.
