A stunning one off Reaper Pikal in AEB-L featuring toasted churro scales and a two tone tumbled/satin finish! The blade sports a thin edge at a higher HRC as well as a patch of crowned, finely cut jimping along the rear ring.
The HRC reading for this blade was taken after all processes were completed to ensure no overheating occurred while grinding.

A BLADE GROUND ENTIRELY POST-HEAT TREATING IN ITS HARDENED STATE. THIS ENSURES EVEN CARBIDE DISTRIBUTION DOWN TO THE CUTTING EDGE FOR IMPROVED EDGE HOLDING ABILITY AND ALLOWS FOR GREATER DIMENSIONAL ACCURACY. THIS PROCESS TAKES AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME AND CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO KEEP THE BLADE FROM OVERHEATING AT THE GRINDER.
